Scrapper's Delight Freebie Friday for April 29th!

Greetings friends!!

It's almost May!  I can't believe how fast this year is moving.

This Freebie Friday image from  Scrapper's Delight is a super cute Bee.  I found some creative "bee" sentiments online from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps to use, and added one of them to the card front.

I used these Copics to color her: Y11, Y13, YR82, B05, C02 for her face and eyes. The body is Y13, Y15, and Y17.  I used some Wink of Stella clear on her wings and antennae.  I colored her "honey dipper" with Spica Buttermilk, Gold, and Sand.  I also used Spica Pitch Black to outline her wings.

I had a Unity Stamp Co "Itty bitty" All Hail the Queen Bee stamp set, and used it with some distress ink around the sentiment.

The background is made from Core'dinations whitewash collection in yellow.  I embossed it with the Honeycomb folder from The Paper Studio and sanded it to reveal the yellow base.

I used stitched horizontal dies from
My Favorite Things  to cut out the sentiments, and finished with some flowers.
This is the inside of the card.  I made my own "bee" sentiment and printed it.

I hope you'll visit the Scrapper's Delights  store and check out the blog!

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:

Until next time, take care.

Scrappers Delights DT for April 15th Freebie Friday!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while since I've blogged.  Bad girl!!  Very bad girl!!

So today I'm sharing a card I made for the Scrapper's Delights www.scrappersdelights.com Freebie Friday Design Team.

We were given this fun image of a lipstick to use.  So what do you do with a lipstick image??  Check out the blog and see what the Design Team came up with! :-)

I used these Copic markers: BG0000 on the background. B02, B04, R24, R27, R29, R37, Y15, Y17, Y18, YR16 and YR18.  I also used my Wink of Stella clear on the lipstick and case.

The "lips" is a sticker from eksuccess that I found at Hobby Lobby. The paper is from my stash.

I added a simple bow and some red glitter dots from Elizabeth Craft Designselizabethcraftdesigns.com.  If you're in the Houston area, you can find these and other EC products at ScrappnSavvy in Spring.  scrappnsavvy.com

I hope you'll stop by the Scrapper's Delights online shop and take a look around.

Until next time, take care.

Becky

Copics'n More, Just Be Your Beautiful Self!

I just LOVE this stamp from Stampendous, and when I found this screen print from Heidi Swapp, I knew they would be together on a project.  The screen print says, "Just Be Your Beautiful Self".

I colored the image using these Copics: E000, E00, E11, E04, R20, E31, E35, E37, E49, B41, B45, C1, R81, R83, R85.  My color combos don't have to be yours!  For the class at Scrapp'n Savvy, you'll choose your own color combinations. If you'd like to give this to someone with red hair wearing a blue shirt, you can change it and make it your own.  :-) If you need some suggestions for markers, don't hesitate to contact me before class.

And NOW the project!  I used Chipboard and Gesso for the foundation.  Next, I used various stencils and texture paste to create the background. I used Maya Mist sprays to achieve those brilliant pops of color!  For the sentiment, I used some texture paste and Gelatos through the screen print. Some ribbon, and flowers finished the project.
If you'd like to sign up for the classes, please contact Scrapp'n Savvy.  The first class is April 26th at 6:30pm, and the second class is April 29th at 10:30am. The cost is $30, and you'll receive the stamp as part of the kit.

Until next time, take care.
