Lucky Stars, using Honey Anime from Scrapper's Delights

Hi everyone,

This week the Freebie Friday image from Scrapper's Delights is Honey Anime.  Her outfit was a bit space-like, so I used that theme for this project.

I colored her with Copic Markers, and added some Spica in Buttermilk for a bit of sparkle.

I die-cut the stars using the Stacked Stars die from Simon Says Stamp.  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up stamp set called Going Global. A Sizzix Decorative Frames die cut the coordinating papers behind her.

I hope you'll stop by Scrapper's Delights to have a look at Honey Anime and all the images that Janice has in her shop.

Have a great weekend,  Becky

There are several different sentiments available as well.

I printed her on X-Press it Blending card and colored her with Copics.  I added some Spica on her flute so it would sparkle.

You're the Main Attraction!

Hi everyone!  This friday I have made a project using the image "tightrope walker" from Scrappers Delights new Circus release.  The sentiment I used, as well as others, are also available from the store.

I printed the image onto X-Press IT blending card and colored her with Copic markers. I added some Spica sparkle here and there, as well as Nuvo Crystal Drops.  I printed the sentiment on white cardstock and used several different shades of Tim Holtz green distress inks to color it.

What would a tightrope walker be without a rope to walk on? Luckily, I had some rope by Recollections that worked perfectly. :-)

Visit the shop at Scrappers Delights to see all the new images that Janice has for you today, and grab your markers or pencils. It's time to color!

Have an amazing weekend, Becky

"You did it!"

This Friday, Scrapper's Delights asked us to use this adorable image named Topsy Turvy.

She is drawn balancing two balls, or a large ball with a small and very talented dog up top. :-)

I found some paper from my stash that I loved for the background, then I coordinated my Copic coloring to match.  I used my ScanNCut to fussy cut her out and then I pop dotted her on a blue background.  Then added some ribbons and some clear Spica here and there to finish it.

There are so many sentiments that you can use for this image.  My other option was "With enough coffee, you can do anything!".  The sentiment I chose is from Stampendous.

I hope you'll visit the Scrapper's Delights website and have a look at the many many images that Janice has in the store.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hi Everyone!  This Friday for Scrapper's Delights I have "The Mummy".  She's a friendly kind of creepy with her bandages and big eyes.  I took the added challenge of designing her with a Pop-up card.  I used "Make It Pop Cutting Dies" from Stampendous to make the card.  The little bats, ghosts, cat, hat and "BOO" are from Impression Obsession, and the tree in the background is again from Stampendous.  I heat embossed the stamped tree with some black Wow embossing powder and added a little Pearl Blueberry from Recollections(available at Michael's), to get some shimmer. I added a few dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Liquid Mercury to finish the project.

I used these Copic Markers: BV20, 23 and 25 on her skin and hair.  Her eyes are FYG1 and FYG2. The bandages are a blend of W0, 1, 3, and 5.

I hope you'll stop by Stampers Delights and check out the images that Janice has created.

Happy coloring, Becky

Scrapper's Delight's "Sakura" Loves You!!

Hi guys!

August 5th Freebie Friday for Scrapper's Delights is sweet little Sakura. I colored her with Copics and added some Glossy Accents on the heart she is holding, and her shoes. A background die from Die'Sires worked perfectly for this little cutie.  The "love you" sentiment and some ribbon with a heart brad was all that I needed to finish this project.

Check out the store at Scrapper's Delights for Sakura and many other super cute images.

Until next time, take care,  Becky

Santa's Little Helper, Yes it's Christmas in July!

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a Scrapper's Delights image on July 8 for Freebie Friday. This little helper is so cute!  I colored her with copics and used a side-step card that fit the image perfectly.  I added a couple of stamps from my stash, glitter dots and gold trim for some sparkle.

The colors bleached out in my photo(sorry!!).  The purples are V04, 06 and 09, so if you know copics, you know how vibrant those colors are.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Cake Time!! Scrappers Delights Freebie Friday for May 27

Hi Everyone!

Our image for this friday is this pocket watch, which is part of Scrapper's Delights steam punk release coming out tomorrow.  I took the watch and colored it with copics, covered the "glass" portion with glossy accents, and ran a ribbon through the handle.  Tim Holtz "Birthday" stamps, also colored with Copics, go along with the "Cake Time" theme.  I also used a the Tim Holtz stencil "Clockwork" with molding paste on a shimmery copper paper for the background.

I hope you check out all the new images being released this weekend.

Until next time, take care, Becky

Friends Forever!!

Hi everyone!  I just love these ladies from Art Impressions. For this card I used the stamp set called Shoppers. I stamped with Memento ink onto X-Press-It blending card, and colored with Copic markers.  I also used a little Spica here and there to add some sparkle.

I decided it would be fun to use the two sided aspect of the images to make a shaker card.  I wanted to keep the card profile fairly thin, so I used my Fuse tool to make the shaker pocket.  I used a Unity stamp called Chicken Wire with some versamark ink and brown embossing powder to resemble a road, and finished with a ribbon.  The "friends forever" stamp on the license plate is from Fiskars.

I'll be teaching this card this week at Scrapp'n Savvy.  The Tuesday class is full, but the friday class has some seats available.  Please contact the shop, or jump online to sign up.

Until next time, take care, Becky

Scrapper's Delights Freebie Friday for May 13, 2016

Oh my goodness, how cute is Hero Boy???  He is all decked out in his space suit, ready for a busy day exploring the universe and fighting the bad guys.  Beam him UP!!!

For this project, I used the digital image, Hero Boy, from the Scrapper's Delights website.  I printed him on X-press It blending card, and colored him with Copic markers.  I chose marker shades that coordinated with my paper, and trimmed the paper using a new square die set by LittleB.

I used my computer to create the sentiment, and printed it on white paper.

Some Elizabeth Craft glitter dots, colored with my FYG2 Copic marker, finished the project.

I used these Copics:  E00, 04, 08, 09, 11, 31, 35.  B12, 14, 16. YG01, 03, 05.  YR15, 16, 18. C3, 5, 7. W0, 1, 3, 5, 7.

I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, take care,  Becky

Scrapper's Delight Freebie Friday for April 29th!

Greetings friends!!

It's almost May!  I can't believe how fast this year is moving.

This Freebie Friday image from  Scrapper's Delight is a super cute Bee.  I found some creative "bee" sentiments online from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps to use, and added one of them to the card front.

I used these Copics to color her: Y11, Y13, YR82, B05, C02 for her face and eyes. The body is Y13, Y15, and Y17.  I used some Wink of Stella clear on her wings and antennae.  I colored her "honey dipper" with Spica Buttermilk, Gold, and Sand.  I also used Spica Pitch Black to outline her wings.

I had a Unity Stamp Co "Itty bitty" All Hail the Queen Bee stamp set, and used it with some distress ink around the sentiment.

The background is made from Core'dinations whitewash collection in yellow.  I embossed it with the Honeycomb folder from The Paper Studio and sanded it to reveal the yellow base.

I used stitched horizontal dies from
My Favorite Things  to cut out the sentiments, and finished with some flowers.
This is the inside of the card.  I made my own "bee" sentiment and printed it.

I hope you'll visit the Scrapper's Delights  store and check out the blog!

It's been a while since I've blogged.  Bad girl!!  Very bad girl!!

We were given this fun image of a lipstick to use.  So what do you do with a lipstick image??  Check out the blog and see what the Design Team came up with! :-)

 www.scrappersdelights.com/store/

I used these Copic markers: BG0000 on the background. B02, B04, R24, R27, R29, R37, Y15, Y17, Y18, YR16 and YR18.  I also used my Wink of Stella clear on the lipstick and case.

The "lips" is a sticker from eksuccess that I found at Hobby Lobby. The paper is from my stash.

I added a simple bow and some red glitter dots from Elizabeth Craft Designselizabethcraftdesigns.com.  If you're in the Houston area, you can find these and other EC products at ScrappnSavvy in Spring.  scrappnsavvy.com

Copics'n More, Just Be Your Beautiful Self!

I just LOVE this stamp from Stampendous, and when I found this screen print from Heidi Swapp, I knew they would be together on a project.  The screen print says, "Just Be Your Beautiful Self".

I colored the image using these Copics: E000, E00, E11, E04, R20, E31, E35, E37, E49, B41, B45, C1, R81, R83, R85.  My color combos don't have to be yours!  For the class at Scrapp'n Savvy, you'll choose your own color combinations. If you'd like to give this to someone with red hair wearing a blue shirt, you can change it and make it your own.  :-) If you need some suggestions for markers, don't hesitate to contact me before class.

And NOW the project!  I used Chipboard and Gesso for the foundation.  Next, I used various stencils and texture paste to create the background. I used Maya Mist sprays to achieve those brilliant pops of color!  For the sentiment, I used some texture paste and Gelatos through the screen print. Some ribbon, and flowers finished the project.
If you'd like to sign up for the classes, please contact Scrapp'n Savvy.  The first class is April 26th at 6:30pm, and the second class is April 29th at 10:30am. The cost is $30, and you'll receive the stamp as part of the kit.

Until next time, take care.
