Scrapper's Delights New Release!!! May 28

Happy Saturday!!!  Scrapper's Delights is releasing a new line of images today!  To celebrate, we are having a Steam Punk Blog hop!!

My project features Lady Constance, one of the new images from the Scrapper's Delights store. I colored her with Copics and used the beautiful Juliet line from BoBunny to finish the project.  This card is also part of a Design Team Challenge for Scrapp'n Savvy, for the month of May. The BoBunny papers I used are available from Scrapp'n Savvy.

I hope you'll check out all of the other Scrapper's Delights blogs for design inspiration, then visit the store to use your blog hop coupon!

Cake Time!! Scrappers Delights Freebie Friday for May 27

Hi Everyone!

Our image for this friday is this pocket watch, which is part of Scrapper's Delights steam punk release coming out tomorrow.  I took the watch and colored it with copics, covered the "glass" portion with glossy accents, and ran a ribbon through the handle.  Tim Holtz "Birthday" stamps, also colored with Copics, go along with the "Cake Time" theme.  I also used a the Tim Holtz stencil "Clockwork" with molding paste on a shimmery copper paper for the background.

I hope you check out all the new images being released this weekend.

Until next time, take care, Becky

Friends Forever!!

Hi everyone!  I just love these ladies from Art Impressions. For this card I used the stamp set called Shoppers. I stamped with Memento ink onto X-Press-It blending card, and colored with Copic markers.  I also used a little Spica here and there to add some sparkle.

I decided it would be fun to use the two sided aspect of the images to make a shaker card.  I wanted to keep the card profile fairly thin, so I used my Fuse tool to make the shaker pocket.  I used a Unity stamp called Chicken Wire with some versamark ink and brown embossing powder to resemble a road, and finished with a ribbon.  The "friends forever" stamp on the license plate is from Fiskars.

I'll be teaching this card this week at Scrapp'n Savvy.  The Tuesday class is full, but the friday class has some seats available.  Please contact the shop, or jump online to sign up.

Until next time, take care, Becky

Scrapper's Delights Freebie Friday for May 13, 2016

Oh my goodness, how cute is Hero Boy???  He is all decked out in his space suit, ready for a busy day exploring the universe and fighting the bad guys.  Beam him UP!!!

For this project, I used the digital image, Hero Boy, from the Scrapper's Delights website.  I printed him on X-press It blending card, and colored him with Copic markers.  I chose marker shades that coordinated with my paper, and trimmed the paper using a new square die set by LittleB.

I used my computer to create the sentiment, and printed it on white paper.

Some Elizabeth Craft glitter dots, colored with my FYG2 Copic marker, finished the project.

I used these Copics:  E00, 04, 08, 09, 11, 31, 35.  B12, 14, 16. YG01, 03, 05.  YR15, 16, 18. C3, 5, 7. W0, 1, 3, 5, 7.

I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, take care,  Becky
