Birthday Fashionista!

Hi friends,

I love the Unity Girls stamps.  They're a mix of fun and thoughtful images, with lots of great sentiments to go along.

For this card I used Fashionistas Sabrina, by Tracey Malnofski. Available at www.unitystampco.com .  Isn't she a cutie?

I used xpress-it paper and Memento ink to stamp the image, then colored the image with Copics, and matted it with some of my "stash" paper.

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E04, R20.  Hair - E31, 35, 37, 29.  Dress & cake ribbon - R81, 83, 85.   Cake layers - YG03, 05, 09/  V04, 05, 09/  Y02, 08,13.  Cake plate and ground in W's.  The background is a simple squiggle in B000. I added some Wink of Stella on her dress ribbons and hair ribbon for a bit of sparkle.

The sentiment inside says "May all your wishes come true".

She was for a special girls' birthday, and I hope it was a great one! <3

Until next time, take care,

Becky

Dear Debra....

...I miss you.  You were an amazing instructor and an inspiration to everyone who knew you.
I know you're still with us in spirit and I will forever cherish the time we had together.

Love, Becky

Two of the images used in the August Copic projects at Scrapp'n Savvy were chosen by Debra.  The third used a dragonfly, which Debra loved and collected.

My Garden, by My Favorite Things, www.mftstamps.com, has this sweet little girl watering her wildflowers. (Debra loved wildflowers)
Copics used were, E000, 00, 04, 11, R20, E31, 35, 37, BG45, 49, YR15, 16, 18, RV06, 09, YG13, 17, C3,5,7, W0,1,3, B000.  Also I used a Blue Spica for the water droplets, a Pink Spica on the flower, and a Black Multiliner 0.05 to extend the part in her hair.

Girlfriends, Worldly Women, from Inky Antics www.inkyantics.com, was such a fun image to color.  I used a gazillion different markers here!  I also used Spicas to add a bit of sparkle to the flowers and jewelry that these lovely ladies are wearing.

For Debra....I used Copics and alcohol on vellum to create the background.  The dragonfly peel-off sticker on double sided adhesive, with Silk Microfine Glitter in cool diamond, is all from Elizabeth Crafts www.elizabethcraftdesigns.com . Debra was a member of the Elizabeth Craft design team. I colored over the glitter with fluorescent copics. The cats tails and sentiment were stamped onto the card behind the vellum.  Some Elizabeth Crafts glitter dots finished it off.

Gotta go get some more kleenex.

Until next time, take care,

Becky

"Happy Fall Y'all!"

Good morning friends,

Is it really 60ish this morning?  Yahoo!!!  It finally feels like Fall is on the way.

Scarecrow Marci is such a cute stamp from Lala Land www.lalalandcrafts.com, and I had a great time with her!  I scanned the bar code on the inside of the stamp packaging to determine the colors I would use.

The image was stamped onto x-press-it blending card, and colored with the following copics....

Skin - E00, 01, 11, 13, BV01  Blush - R20, 21  Hair Y18, YR23, 27, E07  Dress, Hat - E51, 53, 55, 57  Vest, Gloves, Boots, Head Band - E81, 84, 87, 89  Tights - E41, 42, 43, 44  Sunflower - YR18, 23, 27, E07, 18  Crow - B16, C1, 3, 5, 7, 9  Sky - Airbrush B000  Grass - Airbrush with E53, 57

I spent a lot of time with her hair, adding lots of shadow in the "valleys'.

I used Inkadinkado masking paper from eksuccessbrands.com, with the Copic Airbrush system, to color the sky and grass.

I also included a fence from Elizabeth Craft Designs. www.elizabethcraftdesigns.com

The card base was 4 1/2 by 6, with a floral paper used as a mat.

The inside has the message "Happy Fall Y'all!", which is part of the stamp set. I added some birds from a set that I had at home.

I hope you'll give her a try.

Until next time, take care,
Becky
